REVIEW : PERFECT PLAN --- All Rise (Frontiers music s.r.l., April 2018)

It seems like April of 2018 will be a hot month!! One of the most anticipated releases of 2018 will finally see the light of day. I'm talking about PERFECT PLAN's debut album which is entitled "All Rise". I think that Frontiers Music hit bulls eye with the addition of PERFECT PLAN in their roster.

The band consists of Kent Hilli on lead vocals together with Rolf Nordström on guitar, P-O Sedin on bass, Fredrik Forsberg on drums and Leif Ehlin on keyboards and plays melodic rock stuff in the vain of Signal, Treat, early Europe, Giant and Foreigner (to name a few influences) with a fresh approach.

The first highlight of this debut comes with the song that opens "All Rise". "Big City Woman" is an absolute killer melodic rock at its best! Punchy, up-tempo as hell with a chorus line to sing-a-long for days! "In And Out Of Love" is one of these tracks that could be a major success back in the MTV dayz. The Signal, Giant influences are obvious but that doesn't matter at all cause this one is just perfect. With the edgier "Stone Cold Lover", the groovy "Gone Too Far" (another one that reminds me of Giant's early days) and the ultra catchy tune of "Too Late" Perfect Plan delivers three amazing and very impressive tracks. Does it get any better than this? Hell yeah; just check out the 80's hard rock hymn of "Can't Turn Back", "Never Surrender" (my personal favorite) and "What Can I Do" and you'll find your melodic rock paradise!!!

Seems like the guys in PERFECT PLAN had the perfect plan to release the perfect album!!!! Yes, "All Rise" is one of these records that every single track is an absolute killer! I think that you got the picture of how "All Rise" sounds..........

Rating : 10/10
